Like many of you, our family will be traveling across the country this summer. We are leaving tomorrow morning for trip to our company's convention. Before we leave, we will gather around the atlas with our children and map out our journey for a fun and successful trip.
Building your network marketing business is a journey to paradise as well! Using the same “road trip” philosophy, you can navigate your way to success using the same tools.
Find the Right Atlas – Develop your mindset and vision to know where you’re going. Prepare your mind to visually and mentally see your achievements in your business. Be clear on your "why" for getting started in network marketing. Your "why" will direct your personal growth and daily business action plan. Make a commitment to your number one asset on your journey; your mind.
Prepare your Vehicle – Know what’s under the hood of your business. Your products and company are the vehicle taking you on your journey. Become a user of your products and know your company's vision. Develop your own testimonial to share with your potential customers and business partners. Your story, beliefs, and enthusiasm will be contagious!
Use the Legend of your Map– These are the tools, resources, and support available to you for a successful business journey. Invest in yourself and be a continuous learner. Everything you're learning or every skill you're developing is a positive move forward. Give yourself room to grow your skills.
Choose the Interstates – What are the fastest routes for building your business with your company? Understand your company's compensation plan, have an effective marketing strategy, and know your target market. As you embrace valued-based sponsoring, and develop your personal mastery, pay close attention to the traffic. It is often advantageous to choose the road less traveled.
Visit the Landmarks– Design your "points of interest", or short and long term goals. Develop the action steps that will bring you to your intentions and beyond! Your landmarks are the milestones you'll feel and see within yourself and business along your journey. These are the results gained through self accountability.
Arrive at your Destination (and keep going) - If you plan your network marketing journey thoroughly and continually take inspired action, you'll never reach a final destination. As you near your original goal, you'll quickly begin to draw a new map and continue on your never-ending journey of personal growth. Be sure to pat yourself on the back and cheer with your family as you cruise past what you once thought would be your destination.
